High-quality raw beef tripe (stomach) makes up 99% of Nutriment’s Leo & Wolf tripe meatballs. A cow’s digestive system is complex, as their stomachs have four chambers which systematically break down grass with digestive enzymes, gastric juices and amino acids.

These enzymes, gastric juices and amino acids are very nutritious for dogs as they contribute to their own digestion and well as the health of other body functions. Tripe is also naturally rich in protein, which is a crucial component of healthy canine and feline diets as it supports a multitude of bodily functions, including muscle and tissue formulation and repair, hair growth and skin cell formulation, energy formulation and immune system support. It also has the perfect ratio of calcium to phosphorus (1:1), making it ideal for dogs and cats with liver or kidney problems.
